This is the second MeatStick V I’ve bought, the are fantastic and finally solved the problem of being tied to the smoker to monitor temps. It worked flawlessly and the only issue I had was a probe over temp warning and that was my fault for not inserting the probe the correct depth. The probe still works great. I’ve wasted hundreds of dollars on temp probes that advertise WiFi but they never worked, this one does it perfectly.

Testing out the @themeatstickig V wireless meat thermometer. Super impressed with how easy it was to setup and get to cooking. The accuracy of the internal temperature readings were spot on! The app is easy to navigate through and understand with various colors which are bright and easy to read when you’re looking at the graph to view the progression of your cook. The app menu offers an array of meat cooking options, and even keeps an history of your cooks which is an added perk to its functionality. Also helps that they give you quick and simple tips on how to navigate and set up the thermometer for cooks. It boast a 1000ft range and definitely had no issues staying connected as I walked from my backyard to the driveway of the house. No annoying beeping. No annoying alerts showing that I was no longer connected. It also handled being directly over a bed of coals and wood chunks without any alerts telling me to remove it from high heat. Lastly, I love that the magnet backing is super strong and adhered to my metal serving cart, stainless steel stove top, and side of my stainless steel microwave. Very happy and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy meat thermometer that won’t break the bank.

This is the best MeatStick! I have a couple older ones with the WiFi bridge. They worked good with that setup. However it’s much simpler with WiFi built into the base. They stayed connected without issue and it turned out awesome!

Easy to set up and use. App works very well, and because of the long range involved you need not hover over the grill or stove. Had an initial issue (ultimately the issue was my fault) but Jasmine on the support staff stuck with me, and continually followed up until all was resolved. Now that I know what I am doing, the cooks have been easy and perfect! I really appreciate how well the probes work in a sous vide environment
