Make sure you clean your MeatStick so no soot or grime is left after a cook. We recommend using a sponge, soap and warm running water with a good scrub is usually able to get it nice and clean.
If you're unable to get the soot off the cap with a sponge, you may use iron wool, however, do not scrub the ceramic with the wool.
Also, do not soak your MeatStick in a tub of water.
